Yellow Teeth from antibiodic Tetracycline?

I took antibiodic Tetracycline when I was around 5. I was heavily medicated as well. As a result, it made my teeth extremely yellow. Do you think crest Whitening Strips would help? or Maybe getting it whitened at the dentist? My mom said it wouldn%26#039;t help because those options are for people whose teeth are stained from food/tea/coffee, etc...

You probably need vaneers. They are a porcaline cap that the dentist puts on the face of each tooth and they can be quit a lot of money. If you do whiten due to the stains your teeth may not come out all the same shade of white. So you should go to the dentist and ask him what you should do.
Reply:its actually a very common problem. white strips will not help. tetracycline stains are inside the teeth. white strips only bleach the outside. you could try lumineers but they are expensive.
