Help with yellow teeth?

My teeth are yellow due to when i was young i took an excessive amounts of different medicines to cure my sicknesses and so it made my teeth yellow, what can i do to make it LESS yellow ( i know i cant make it white unless i bleach it )





is there anything i can do to make it LESS yellow for life? unlike those white strips which only last about a year or less

I%26#039;ve heard of veneers for teeth. My understanding is that they cover the old teeth completely.

Reply:toothpaste. simple what i did today was pretty cool i brushed my teeth with 3 different toothpastes and swished with scope. It doesn%26#039;t do very mush when you brush three times a day.

Reply:you cant just make your teeth white, and expect them to stay white for years. You have to keep working at it. I swear by %26quot;white strips%26quot;, you could be wearing them now while typing.





Sounds like your just too lazy, there are no easy answers out there.
Reply:if you want longer lasting effects, you need to get your teeth whitened by a dentist. i have a huge family, and i%26#039;d say about 20 of them are dentist, so i%26#039;m always hearing about new ways to improve your teeth. they say that crest whitestrips are actually a good whitening agent if you can%26#039;t afford the real whitening treatment at the office.


i also know that whitening toothpastes don%26#039;t do anything. i hear about this so much haha. apparently you have enamel on your teeth that goes way beyond just the surface, and whitening toothpaste isn%26#039;t as effective as you think it is just by looks.





i never got braces so im using invisalign right now, but i plan on getting my teeth whitened. its a short 30 minute visit, and it lasts for about a year and half atleast if done correctly. you should try it. i think it will totally be worth it.

Reply:Be nice! As one who was a sickly child and took lots of antibiotics, my teeth are not spanking white, yet they are not corn kernal yellow either. As a child, I was made fun of and there really isn%26#039;t much to do except get veneers. The inside of your teeth is what is yellowed, not the outside, so bleaching isn%26#039;t going to do much except remove surface stains. I use a Sonicare toothbrush and it does help keep food stains down to a minimum. Unless I had megabucks, I would not be able to afford %26quot;soap opera star teeth.%26quot; This is basically what my dentist told me. I advise 1) Get a Sonicare to keep food stains down, 2) see your dentist regularly for cleanings and 3) inquire then to see if there is something you can do to enhance your smile so that you don%26#039;t feel like you have to not smile for the camera.
