What is the significance of yellow teeth. Is it because of calcium rich in body.?

If people have yellow teeth, is it because of rich calcium in their body? if not what are the reasons

What is the significance of yellow teeth. Is it because of calcium rich in body.?
As a dentist I can tell you that the yellow color on teeth are stains from not properly brushing daily. Food, soda, coffee, tea and cigarette smoke are just a few of the causes of the yellow stains. Proper brushing after each meal or at least twice per day will prevent most of this staining.

Reply:Yellow teeth=bad hygiene. Teeth are never made naturally yellow, they become yellow when someone does not take care of their teeth. Tartar and plaque build up will turn teeth yellow when they are not brushed enough. A slightly yellow coloring to teeth can be caused by smoking cigarettes or drinking coffee or soda, and is normal even if the person has good hygiene. Extremely yellow teeth is nasty though.

You shoul brush at least twice a day.
