It happens, especially if you drink a lot of dark colored liquids like dark sodas and coffee, or if you smoke all of which cause stains.





To get rid of them try a whiteneing toothpaste or crest white strips. You can also use baking soda. Either apply a small amount to an old toothbrush and brush with it, and then follow up by brushing with your regular toothbrush and toothpaste, or mix a little bit of baking soda with warm water and use it as a rinse, then brush as normal.





Hydrogen peroxide mixed with water is said to work too.

I would recommend a dental checkup/evaluation before doing the bleaching, though, if you haven%26#039;t had one in the last 6 months, because you can hurt your teeth bleaching if you have caries (%26quot;cavities%26quot;). Depending on the depth of your enamel, your teeth may just be yellower too. (that%26#039;s the basic answer separate from secondary causes such as smoking, chewing, and diet.)
Reply:I have gray teeth due to tetracycline staining from my childhood. I%26#039;ve looked into veneers and they are VERY expensive and not covered by insurance. If yours are yellow, it%26#039;s likely to simply be staining. Get some Rembrant toothpaste to use daily and try the home bleaching kits.
Reply:CREST WHITENING STRIPS! Theyre amazing! I had yellow teeth due to antibiotics when i was young, and those strips cut right through it and they got my teeth amazingly white.





Use them properly though or else they wont work.
