wine, and hardly ever tea. Nor do I smoke. I dont understand why my teeth are so yellow. I want to get my teeth whitened but Im wondering if I should make sure there are no other problems in my teeth first, such as a cavity or something. Do those sorts of problems need to be fixed before teeth whitening or can you go ahead and do it first? Also, is it done in one visit or several visits?

If you are concerned there may be something wrong with your teeth, get them checked out before you whiten. Unless you%26#039;re having pain, you probably don%26#039;t have anything wrong. If this is the case, a Dentist can whiten your teeth in one or two visits.


Most of the time, just one visit. But people with severe and/or stubborn stains may need a second visit. Do you know that it costs about 400-500 dollars to get them whitened by a Dentist? You can do it yourself at home in several treatments for a week or two and get them pretty white. If so, there are plenty of effective self whitening kits to choose from. I forget the name, but there%26#039;s one where you use a blue light after you apply gel to a mouthpiece. This makes the gel work much faster and you can achieve white teeth sooner, in about a week. Reply:Maybe go to the dentist and get ur teeth cleaned. Try Crest Whitestrips, they are fantastic and last a year or so. If your teeth are really really yellow, try it now, then try it again in a few months to get them completely white, or get them done by the dentist.

Reply:Get it bleached, but still it is a temporary, lasting for couple of months. For permanent solution please consult your Doctor. Certainly he asks about your Family history, and your food habits, answer it. He / She makes it milky white. Good luck.
Reply:find hickory branch, split bottom 4 ways, aprox 4-6 inches long, brush teeth with only salva or water no tooth paste or chimacels. use 3 to 5 times a day for a month, you should see whitter teeth.

Reply:You can try Crest Whitestrips to see if u like the results. Dentist whitening is pricey. Depending on how yellow ur teeth are, it may take more than 1 session. I did mines in 1 and they had a special price of $399 per session, in CA. Reg can cost $500-$1000+. I would try the Crest first to see if I like it. Sometimes ppl like how home whitening is since it is very effective and easy. It%26#039;ll only whiten real teeth though. No, u don%26#039;t have to fix the cavities before using them. But doing a reg checkup is a good idea. Whether u whiten or not. I also heard brushing with baking soda and peroxide works but I haven%26#039;t tried it. Good luck!

Reply:I don%26#039;t know why your teeth are so yellow, but you could get %26quot;white strips%26quot; from walmart, or cvs, etc. and those helped me out. I started seeing results in 3 days. They are about $20 and up. Or, just go to the dentist and get them whitening, but i guarantee its expensive. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Reply:well whitenign is important but its justa bout te look. cavity shodul be proprity .i think ur doctor wont midn perform whitneing to u if u isnist on ignoring the cavity. its done 3 session but had it doen 3 yers ago heard there is new techniques now that can be done in one visit. good luck
Reply:I have white teeth naturally But i pay the price because they tend to decay easier . I think you have the better part of the bargain although your teeth are naturally yellow they can be whitened were as mine cannot be strengheed . Just save up for the whitening treatment in the meantime you can slowly whiten them but perhps not as white as a clinibcal treament











Try this Bicarbonate of Soda mixed with 30 vol peroxide brush the teeth with this . The soda soaks below the surface and the peroxide whitens when carried through by the soda.
